Eagles & 2 More "Jargons"

Congratulations to the Eagles on their Super Bowl victory......and thanks to both teams for a Super Bowl worth watching! I don't watch much football anymore. (It makes me too hyper.) But for some reason I had this strong desire to watch this year's Super Bowl. I really am not sure why since I am not a fan of either team. In fact, I said to my Monster, Ana, who was watching it with me, that had anyone told me 20 years ago that I'd be rooting for the Eagles.....I'd have fallen over laughing.......and yet that is exactly what I was doing yesterday. My actual daughter lives in Philadelphia now, but back when I was a Redskins fan, it was hard to 'like' the Eagles, or the Cowboys.

And I have to say, I certainly lucked out picking this game to watch. It had all the makings of a great, corny sports movie: the game was close, the underdog won, and there was a razzle-dazzle play at a clutch moment that was so brilliantly bold and unexpected that I will not soon forget it! Anyway, it was a just really a damned good game!

On another note, I have a couple more of the "D/s Jargon" cartoons to share today before I get on with my projects, so enjoy:

Rosa always says to me when I'm being difficult to just say, "yes, Dear."

A little AC/DC, anyone? Some greedy subs can really wear out the batteries.....and that's when it's time to plug in the 'big guns'!

  2. Agreed 100% on the game. I'm not one of those guys who follow the NFL religiously, and I'm not a real fan of either of those teams, but I do tend to root for the underdog and this one really was a great game.

    1. I am the first to admit that the Patriots have one helluva team. Their prowess is undeniable......but......enough already!! LOL ;-) It's good to see a change.

  3. I enjoyed the game (and commercials, except for one)

As for your cartoons, the power exchange is one I really enjoy. Vibes are no longer for subs! Mistress likes them as well!

No Ma'am or Goddess for me. Those are NOT safe!

    1. Was it the MLK/Ram one? The commercials did nothing for me this year. I can't even really remember any except for the Tide ones. I even remarked to Ana that this was probably the weakest bunch I had seen. But then I don't watch the Super Bowl every year. And Halftime was my time for stretching my legs and getting more snacks and a drink. Ana watched the show and said that it was best I avoided it. LOL

I can see how the "safe words" could be different for different people.....but it was just a joke about being agreeable being the best policy with a Top.

    2. Yes, it as the Ram one. I felt it was offensive. He deserves more respect than that!

    3. The Ram one bugged me as being heavy-handed and a bit absurd....though offensive. It was just advertisers being clueless, tasteless panderers. You should pull up Stephen Colbert's spoof of the MLK Ram commercial on YouTube.

    1. Thanks, Joe. Rosa can't get into football either. It doesn't make you a bad person. ;-)
