Hellfire Club diorama

Recently my son picked up some new figures as part of a set representing the classic "Hellfire Club". (If you're not a Marvel nerd, think "Slytherin" in Harry Potter. Leaning towards evil, but not exclusively so.) Anyway, I got such a kick out of how well Hasbro rendered the characters.....particularly Sebastian Shaw....that I just felt compelled to give them a mansion to meet in.

Unfortunately I did not do any WIP shots since I was just working quickly. However, my son posed the figures in the set as soon as I gave it to him and here is the shot. Not pictured is a third wall that has a window.

The walls have magnets in them behind the wallpaper allowing various wall-hangings to be used interchangeably so the mansion can be used for various characters besides just the Hellfire Club pictured here. The doors work too.

    1. Emma Frost? Why you little closet fanboy, you! LOL

Actually I have never understood the enormous appeal she has. But I've never been particularly partial to blondes. ;-)

  2. I'm still a member of a small, but still active Marvel comix group from the late 60s. But I haven't kept up with new characters that much, so I don't know Hellfire.

But man oh man, the diorama makes my eyes happy.

    1. Thank you for the compliment, Tomy! The Hellfire Club goes back to 1980.......but if you're more of a 60's to 70's guy, you probably missed them. But to call them 'new' shows your age, LOL (just teasing)
