Life isn't fair

Not too long ago I came across this old single image cartoon/illustration drawn by an artist known for his Boy Scout and book illustrations.....and despite the apparent unfairness implied, could not help but find the image mischievously charming:

If the narrative in the boy's non-verbal word-bubble is true, this young lad is going to get it from his Mom for actually trying to do the right thing. What's worse is that one of the consequences of his heroism has ensured  that the angry matriarch will have a bare target for her little martinet.

I am not sure why I enjoy discipline stories with an air of unfairness in them, but I do. And this quirk of mine is made more odd by the fact that I detest unfairness in real life.

The past few days have been a collection of little injustices.....though none have resulted in an unfair spanking from Rosa. Still, I am a bit worn down from the relentless persistence of these episodes. Sometimes I feel like there are actually fates who actively conspire against us!

Anyway, I just thought that the theme of today's post should reflect the issue of unfairness, and to conclude I have decided to provide a link to a past story of mine that has a bit of unfairness as its central ....though mostly lighthearted theme. It's called "No Good Deed" and it contains M/F , F/f AND f/f dynamics of disciplinary spankings within. Enjoy!  (click here for the story)

    1. Thanks for the heads-up, Franco! I checked it out and the link was written in properly but somehow did not function correctly. It should work now though. (At least it did for me) Enjoy!

  2. A female slave friend of mine when she sees others complaining about something unfair, she answers (very sweetly, may I add) "Fair is a place with rides and cotton candy"

  3. Some thoughts: Since when do people from Brazil speak fluent Spanish?

    I do expect an answer.

  4. Other than that glaring mistake I enjoyed the story.

    1. I worked with a Portuguese woman who was able to speak quite easily with our Spanish customers. And Rosa, who speaks Spanish fluently is also able to understand a lot of Portuguese. She told me the languages, while different, are very similar.

However, when I wrote the story, I was just basing the woman on Rosa but did not want to use Peru again and just picked Brazil without thinking about it being a language exception to most South American countries. (Good catch!)

    2. I didn't have to "catch" it. My Mother was from Brazil. Unfortunately I was never taught Portuguese except for a minimal amount when I visited at the age of 7

    3. Ah and so we learn a little more about you. ;-)

    4. You do realize you could ask me almost anything and I would answer it for you. I'm not particularly afraid of you coming to my doorstep and scaring the bejesus out of me

    5. Did you get a good look at me in that Halloween avatar? ;-)

    7. Darn! I guess I'm going to have to work on my scowl and my "oogah-boogah".

  5. I also have a warped enjoyment of punishments wrongly administered. The most common one I recall was Tom Sawyer taking a good licking for his sweetheart Beckie ' s misdeeds.
The other wad in a comic book of my youth called the Milky Bar Kid where the kid had a pretty cousin visiting from America who writes something rude on the school blackboard. The kid tries to erase it but is caught by the teacher and takes a well illustrated six of the best on her behalf.
It then shows him sitting down beside her telling her it didn't hurt when the illustrator showed stars and red glows all around his backside.
Any body who had six of the best knew that sitting was not easy. Very cute.Wish I could find a copy.

    1. If you like the Tom Sawyer scene, you should read my "Emulating Tom" story.....which is a semi-modern, gender-bending retelling. You can find it easily on the main website! Enjoy!

  6. I don't know if this falls into the category of "injustice". Probably more "ironic".
A few days ago I screwed up something associated with our banking practices. Although we didn't lose any money, it required a whole lot of time and stress to unravel it. I was sure I was going to get the strap. But she was kindly understanding and chose to handle it with a simple discussion.

Then last night I made a less-than-classy joke. It was just us at home, not offending anyone else. I thought it was very funny. She didn't and I got a substantial dose of the hairbrush. Even now, I am not exactly comfortable in my chair. How is that "fair?"

    1. That sounds just like something that would happen here! But I still think whether 'ironic' or outright 'unfair'.....it is extremely important that the person in charge gets to make those calls. In fact, I find that sort of seemingly imbalanced approach to actually make a lot of sense. And I think handling a stressful situation with mercy shows genuine concern and maturity from the authority figure, while emphatically dealing with something more minor affords them the opportunity to blow off their own stress while not making anyone feel bad emotionally.

We folks actually living the lifestyle with intelligent and confident discplinarians are VERY lucky.

    2. Oh so true. Over the years I have come to highly respect my wife's judgement. When I was younger and full of ego I wanted to do everything my way. But I finally realized that she was right about things most of the time and I would be an idiot not to not use her abilities "for the good of the team."
So it does indeed reflect on my attitude toward the disciplinary aspects of our life and "unfairness" is rarely an issue for me.

    3. Same here. The only thing that could be considered "unfair" and has occasionally been jokingly pointed out by my family, is that while even Rosa can sometimes mess up......I'm the only one who gets spanked!

    4. Oh that! It has nothing to do with "fair". It's more of an axiomatic law of our particular universe..kinda like gravity or something.

    5. Well said! And worthy of a nod and a grin for sure!

  7. As far as the boy in the picture goes, you assume he is being punished for intervening in the dog incident. But perhaps he is being strapped for being outside of his neighborhood without permission - the dog incident is just how he got caught. As far as the irony of his bottom being already prepped for his spanking, that is really cute, but a good disciplinarian is going to completely strip him to his birthday suit anyway.

Yes, “unfair” punishment is fun, but for me, “uneven” punishment, especially when it is gender based, is even more fun. My favorite high school FemDom fantasies involve this scenario. For instance:

Scenario No 1: 2 girls and 1 boy are caught smoking on school grounds during the lunch break. The girls are SENT to detention because corporal punishment of girls is not allowed, but he boy is BENT over the principal’s desk for a paddling.

Scenario No 2: boyfriend and girlfriend are caught in a “public display of affection” at school. Corporal punishment of girls consists of applying a ruler to a girl’s open palm, whereas the boy are paddled. However, to make the punishment fair and equal since the girl is being spanked on her bare hand, the boy must be punished on his bare bottom (while the girlfriend watches).

Of course these are FEMALE principals or vice-principals.

    1. I suppose your scenario could explain it, Carl.

I also appreciate your 'uneven' versus 'unfair' distinction. I suppose I have a bit of both here at times! LOL And I guess I like #1 better than #2.

Oddly enough, in real life, though we don't use corporal punishment for kids, Rosa personally believes in gender unevenness within adult DD. It's also why I ended up a proxy.
