Facial Expressions: Pt. 6

SYMPATHY /CAMARADERIE. After a brief foray into "science deniers" (with an emphasis on man made global warming) I figured we may as well conclude the expressions series with the last installment. The following pictures show group scenes where there is a witness present whose expression reflects a certain sympathy or bond with the person being punished. Again, these are likely ALL posed, but I still find these particular shots to be convincing:

Elizabeth Burns giving it pretty good to Lily as her actual younger sister, Kailee looks on with concern. I am admittedly a sucker for anything with these two siblings in it.

I find a lot of these Russian/Ukrainian photo sets to be objectively severe enough to make the fellow models' looks of sympathy seem quite genuine.

The seated model's expression here seems to convey not just sympathy for her friend, but a sort of sense of worry that she will be next.

True sympathy? Good acting? You decide.

Before finishing up, I've decided to add one last 'group shot' that doesn't quite fit in with the "sympathy" angle...........but I felt I'd prefer to end with something more lighthearted.

I happen to love when a witness 'enjoys' the plight of their friend perhaps even more than when they seem sympathetic.

    1. I too have had that "witness concern" reaction a couple of times. It does pass though, doesn't it? ;-)

  2. Although you've been featuring spanking photos so this is a little off point, I've noticed over the years the almost total lack of spanking art depicting men with the kind of "real" expressions one would expect before, during or after a spanking. Particularly before and after. There is just almost nothing out there that I've found with expressions showing worry, remorse, fear, etc. It's all just over-the-top shock and awe. I have a pretty good collection of spanking art, and I probably can't find four or five examples depicting men displaying any kind of real vulnerability or emotion, and the few I can find are probably ones YOU drew!

    1. Thank you.

I probably have seen it more in F/m art when the subject is youthful, but then that tends to take things in a very mixed direction for people.

    2. Indeed. I really like Barb's artwork. I just wish most of her subjects weren't plainly teenage boys. In her case it's kind of dumb for another reason -- Barb tries to sell her work commercially, and I'm sure the youthful subjects scare off a whole bunch of potential buyers. As much as I like the look and feel of her work, I will seldom post any of it.

    3. We've discussed her before. My biggest beef with her work is that I don't believe she actually draws any of it like RedRump does. It all looks like altered, enhanced, and 'artified' photos. (I'm actually planning a post about that technique soon.....though not about Barb specifically.)

    4. Any idea what has happened to RedRump? Hasn't posted anything new in over a year. I absolutely love (his? her?) stuff!

    5. As I said in my other reply, I do believe from conversations I have had with him around the time he first stopped updating, that he's just about exhausted the subject and hasn't much else to offer. I can relate all too well.

  3. I must admit to enjoying the final photo, with the smirking, giggling young lady watching as another one (possibly her sister or a girlfriend) is being prepared for an imminent bare-bottom OTK spanking by a somewhat older female (possibly her/their mother, older sister or babysitter); I generally prefer smug, snickering feminine witnesses to sympathetic and/or apprehensive ones.

Of course, the observer's attitude is clearly influenced by whether or not her own derriere is also going to be targeted for upcoming discipline... --C.K.
