Twisted Easter

Lately I've been in a kind of mischievous, quirky mood, prone to turning traditional ideas on their head. I've always been a bit of a iconoclast, but one who prefers sarcasm to serious destruction. I'd rather use a joke than a hammer.....although on my "hammer days" all bets are off. LOL As a result, I've poked a few bears this week, but mostly to see what would happen.

I also lost a day.....yesterday..... to a debilitating malaise induced (I believe) partially from my second Covid vaccination, and partially from some serious sinus crap hitting both me and Rosa. I slept more than usual and couldn't muster any energy or enthusiasm. But today I feel refreshed......even if the weather looks like an Addams Family picnic. So I have a lot to catch up on, and will head out soon.

I still need to get some food from the Polish Store for Sunday, pick up some extra gin, get some wrapping paper, etc. Then it's time to pickle some spicy eggs in order for them to soak up the flavor by Sunday!

But I also got up early and have some time to post and found this old gem:

This is so fucking creepy, even though I doubt it was the intention. I LOVE IT!

Rosa has also been in a playful mood, but I am embarrassed to admit, I just don't feel sexual lately. I just feel like getting things done and flirtation, sex, or even kink, just holds no attraction right now. Hopefully that will pass when I check enough "to do"s off my list.

  1. Does your Polish shop sell that cloudy Vodka with a straw in the bottle? I tried that in Cracow and found that it is the only vodka that I have ever liked. Never been able to find it anywhere else since

    1. No, they would need a liquor license to do that. I'm not a big vodka drinker, so I had to look that one up. It's Zubrowka and it has a blade of bison grass in each bottle. I read a bit on it and it is considered a vodka liqueur. It also said it used to be illegal here due to an ingredient they have since eliminated from the recipe. It is currently available here and I will look out for it. The images did not appear cloudy except for one and I could not figure out why.

    1. Yeah, that's a good description. And yes, I've made great progress despite losing a day.

  3. The second COVID-19 shot took me out for a day than faded out. Good luck with the rest.

    1. Yes, that's what happened. It was like having a 24-hour flu.

      And thank you!
